Giving to the Catskill Choral Society

The Catskill Choral Society can use your support.

While we are able to obtain grants* and our members provide support by paying their dues and volunteering their time for fundraising events like the annual Grand and Glorious Garage sale, we must pay our musical directors, accompanists, soloists and orchestras to provide the rich variety of Choral music to you.In addition, our Youth Choirs program that benefit some twenty to thirty children a year, has annual expenses to cover the costs of the Youth and Children’s Choirs, and the expense of professional vocal training for the high school-aged Dox Apprentices.

The Performance Fund, established in autumn of 1999 by Ruth and Dick Burnett through a generous founding gift, is an endowment fund, the income from which is designated to pay for the costs of staging concerts. Fund income can be used to buy music for the singers and the orchestra, pay the fees of soloists and orchestra members, print programs and tickets, and all the things that make a concert possible.

A Unrestricted donation to general operations allows us to direct your donation to where it is needed most to ensure the financial health of the organization.
